Buying at a Florida tax deed sale

Florida counties sell property for unpaid taxes at tax deed sales, with an opening bid set before the auction.

The property is sold as is: there is no warranty of clear title or of its condition. Before you bid, read the county's current notice and look into liens, access, boundaries and what you are allowed to build or use it for.

Deposits, registration and the rules for buying parcels that did not sell differ from county to county, so confirm them with the selling county first. Each Florida listing on landrush links the official record it came from.
